How to Tuck No Hander

In this BMX trick tip you will learn how to Tuck No Hander. As you jump, try to pull the bars into your lap without taking your hands off. This is just to get the feel of where your bike needs to be in order to take your hands off. You want your bike as straight up and down as you can get it, so throw the bike into your lap and lean forward.
Once you start to feel comfortable, try taking your hands off as soon as your bars get into your lap. Remember, you have to do it like you mean it, so throw the bars into your lap with force. When your hands come off, you'll want to lean forward as far as you can. This keeps your bars straight and it makes it easier to get the bike level when you want to land. It also makes the no-hander look better.
You want to hold your hands off for as long as possible. As you start to come down, stay leaned forward and grab the bars. Stay leaned forward so you don't loop out, and push your bars out to level off.
Hopefully your hands are back on your bars by now. If not, you should really think about getting an aspirin or two. If your grips are in your hands then you've pretty much pulled a tuck no-hander. Just make sure you clear whatever you're jumping and ride away, because we all know that's what BMX is about.
When the bike is completely vertical and your hands are off, some people like to pinch the frame with their knees. Pinching will help to hold the bike in place if you're not confident with the bike just sitting in your lap. It will also help if you're doing this trick over a hip or on a quarterpipe.

How to Quarterpipe Air Out

In this BMX trick tip you will learn how to Air Out. Approach the quarterpipe at a low rate of speed when you're first learning. Eventually, the faster you go and harder you pump, the higher you'll go. Pull up as your bike leaves the ramp. I would recommend learning on a four-foot quarterpipe and then gradually working your way up. Now that you're in the air, you want to keep your head pointed toward where you plan to come back into the ramp and start your rotation. When you're about to peak, you can tuck, do a table, or just relax. Now that you have hit the peak of your air, you need to spot where you plan to land. Coming back in is the hardest part, because you dont want to case the deck/coping with either wheel, and you don't want to land flat, either. As you come into the ramp, you should come in at an angle, because it will make it easier to corect any mistakes. It alo can be less dangerous.
Now that you're just about to land, you need to stay steady and get ready to pump the transition when you land. If you think you're oing to overshoot the landing, you might want to lean back and put your foot down to keep yourself from going over the bars. If you think you're going to case your back wheel, you should use your legs like suspension and absorb the impact by bending your knees and staying relaxed. But if your front wheel is going to case, try to jump over your bars and run down the ramp or slide down on your knees if you're wearing hardshell kneepads. As you're landing, you'll want to pump to generate speed for the next obstacle. Pumping to generate speed is a very important technique you need learn if you want to link ogether lines with minimal pedaling in between. You can practise by dropping in any ramp or wedge-when you roll down, push with you arms and legs. Ride away and be happy to have accomplished something you have never done. Keep practicing, becasue you can always go higher or develop a beter style to your airs.

How to Ice Pick

In this BMX trick tip you will learn how to Ice Pick. Approach the transition with your pedals leveled, riding fast enough to just before your front wheel hits the coping, start to turn to the left or the right. This is the crucial part of the trick where you will need to do a lot at once. Twist your body to get the bike parallel to the coping and pull up on the bars to get the front end up to about 45 degrees. It is important to keep an eye on the coping and make sure that your rear peg is above it. Now you can bang that peg on the coping and push the bike towards the platform and your weight into the transition. If the bike is falling on the platform, pull the bike towards you and the transition. If the bike is falling into the transition simply push it towards the platform, extending your arms. In order to hold the bike on the rear peg, you can gain your equilibrium by moving your weight back if the front your end is falling or forwards if it is flipping backwards. To complete the ice pick, allow the front end to start dropping and turn your weight and bike into the transition.

How to 720

In this BMX trick tip you will learn how to 720 spin. First of all bigger spins take more windup with the upper body "throwing your body into it", and more time to come around. Entering a spin slightly on edge can help get the bike turning, but wait until you’ve left the ground to really start the rotation "spinning too early may cause you to catch an edge". Turn your head and upper body in the direction of the spin as you leave the lip of the jump. Continue to look that way–over your lead shoulder–until you spot the landing. Fixing your sights on the landing and extending your body will stop the rotation, allowing you to set ’er down real nice.
"Also remember to get more speed and air".
